Concept: QUALITY LEADER The Quality Leader provides leadership and direction for the development, administration and improvement of the facility's quality system and Six Sigma program. Develop, implement, and maintain a Six Sigma capability including program and personnel development, setting goals, establishing and implementing metrics with the goal of reducing process variation, improving product quality, and reducing costs. Assist green/blackbelt training program. Mentor green/blackbelts in the process of selection through completion of Six Sigma Projects. In addition, the Quality Leader will prepare and report as required on the status of Shippensburg Six Sigma and other quality systems. Responsible for ISO 9001-2000, supplier quality and TQM manufacturing program at JLG Shippensburg. Direct and manage ISO 9001-2000 quality system activities, TQM manufacturing system activities, and supplier quality activities within the procedures and policies outlined in the JLG Corporate Quality Manual.
